Hello crafters, card makers, scrapbookers, and stampers! I have a fabulous blended & splattered ink background technique to share with you today. And of course I’m using one of my absolute favourite bundles, Ocean Friends. I’ve been sharing cards with this bundle all week and you can check out my previous posts HERE and HERE.
The background on this card really is the perfect backdrop for my focal images, as it mimics ocean water so well. To achieve this blended & splattered ink background technique, I used one of my Blending Brushes to add some Summer Splash Ink onto Basic White Cardstock. I then used the brush tip of my Summer Splash Stampin’ Blends Marker to add some splatter. And then for the final touch, I dipped my fingertips into a small dish of water and flicked water onto the cardstock. I love how it turned out! To see this technique in action, be sure to visit me on Instagram to see my latest reel.

This card has a lot to offer, including this lobster with lots of dimension! For the technique I used, please check out the pink lobster card HERE. For this lobster I used Ink Pads and Stampin’ Blends in the colours Calypso Coral and Petal Pink.
