Hello crafters, cardmakers, and stampers! Last weekend I had the absolute pleasure and joy of attending the Stampin’ Up! OnStage event in Vancouver. This event is exclusively for demonstrators to meet new friends and see ‘old’ ones, share in creativity, have a TON of fun, and see the new catalogue!
On the Friday night the leaders were invited to a meet and greet style evening, called CentreStage. It was so incredible to see some of of my friends and give them a big hug for the first time in a long time.
Saturday was an all day event and I can’t tell you how much fun it was! I was especially excited to meet a couple of my team members for the first time and see one I hadn’t seen in a really long time. I wanted to give each of them a gift from me to represent our team and spoil them a little so I made them a bag with our team name. In each of the bags I put a cute wallet with a crown closure, a spool of gold ribbon, and some candy. I love how they turned out and so did they.
We had such a good time together and these ladies are an absolute treasure.
Stampin’ Up! spoiled us with a ton of swag including a purse, new stamp sets, embellishments and more!
The day was jam packed with presentations from Home Office as well as live demonstrations from fellow demonstrators. It was so awesome to see products from the new catalogues in action!
In the afternoon we even had a little break to celebrate Stampin’ Up! being in Canada for 20 years with a cupcake!
Near the end of the day Stampin’ Up! announced and celebrated top demonstrators in the company. I was incredibly surprised, honoured, and humbled to be named the #1 demonstrator in Canada.
As I walked across the stage and I looked up, I couldn’t believe that my fellow demonstrators were on their feet clapping, and giving me a standing ovation. That absolutely brought tears to my eyes. There’s something so special about the love, acceptance, and excitement I felt from my fellow demonstrators in that moment.
I was gifted the most gorgeous golden suitcase with the softest wrap, cutest stickers, and celebratory pins.
These demonstrator only events are SO fun and are a true highlight of being a demonstrator. Being in a room with hundreds of other stampers that share the same joy for this wonderful hobby is pretty special. I hope everyone has a chance to go to one of these incredible events one day.
