Hello crafters, cardmakers, and stampers! Do you ever just make a project and think to yourself ‘wow, I made that!’? That’s how I feel about todays cards. I just love how they turned out and I think the colours I’ve used are a little unexpected.
In the evening after I’d done this blog post I decided to hop on YouTube and do a video, so here’s that for you too!
To create these beautiful blossoms I first inked my stamp in Blushing Bride Ink, then I rolled the edges of the stamp in Merry Merlot Ink (that was before I re-inked my ink pad, watch the video for an alternate way as well). This gave the petals a stunning two tone ombre effect that I think it just stunning.
I was loving the look and stamped several flowers, so I decided to use the leftovers on a second card. On both cards the fade-out background was created by using my Blending Brush and some Merry Merlot Ink. I concentrated the ink on either the bottom or side, and then slowly faded the colour out. I think the final look is so pretty.
