Hello and welcome to the World Card Making Day Blog Hop! I’m excited you’ve joined me as I have LOTS of fun scheduled for this incredible day! World Card Making Day is officially the first Saturday in October (Oct 1 this year), but I’m kicking things off a little early with a blog hop on Friday night with fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators. So without further adieu, here’s my card:
I’ve fallen in love, ok I’ve become totally obsessed, with all things ‘jar’ related in the Stampin’ Up! catalogues. Today’s card uses the Jar of Love stamp set, as well as the stunning Helping Me Grow stamp set – where you’ll find that big beautiful blossom. I have a few creative tips to share so you can recreate this card, but first I’m excited to share a fun promotion I have to celebrate World Card Making Day!
To earn a free World Card Making Day Kit from me, you must:
- Order $50 or more (before shipping and tax) from my Canadian Online Stampin’ Up! Store.
- Use the special World Card Making Day hostess code: JQXZWGDG when placing your order.
- Place your order between 12:01am and 11:50pm (mountain time) on October 1st.
- Get super, duper, ultra excited for your free goodies to arrive!!
Stampin’ Up! is also celebrating World Card Making Day with some incredible deals.
Shop in Canada with me!
Now let’s get on to the details of that adorable birthday card.
Creative Tips:
- Think outside the stamp set. Just because the Jar of Love stamp set doesn’t have large flower stamps, doesn’t mean that should limit you. Grab your favourite flower stamp set with large blossoms and combine them.
- Watercolour paper for the win. Using your Aqua Painter and the ink colours of your choice you can create beautiful watercoloured images, just make sure you have the right paper.
Thank you so much for visiting, now please go and visit my blog hopping friends:
I’d love to be your Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator!
Shopping in my Canadian Online Stampin’ Up! Shop is fun and easy, plus I have a shopping rewards program that I know you’ll enjoy the benefits of!

I love how you've popped certain elements up here! And peek-a-boo peach and pumpkin blend so well together! Who woulda thunk?

What a wonderful way to showcase and promote your products. It is so good to see that you are thinking outside the box (SU box). Sometimes demonstrators just get so caught up in the one stamp set use. Great flexibility in the jar set for so many things. TFS and for the inspiration.

What an amazing card! It is stupid that we sometimes seem to forget all the wonderful stamps we already have when the new catalogue comes out. I love that you combined a few 'older' ones to make this gorgeous card. Greets, Natalie – Het Knutsellab
