Goodbye Going Global: Father’s Day Card

Hello my friends! This is it. The grand finale. The big ending. The curtain is closing. Yes, we’ve known this day was coming. Tonight at 11:50pm mountain time, the 2015-2016 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue and Occasions Catalogue will be GONE! I saved a special card for this big day, one to celebrate someone who is a big important person in my life, my Dad. 

I know that masculine cards can trip some crafty folks up. Do dudes like ribbon? Is watercolouring too soft? Don’t give your Dad (or any other man in your life) a card that lacks the creative attention to detail that you put into your more feminine creations. Use the ribbon. Watercolour. Add on the layers. Dads deserve it.

For this card I used the awesome Going Global stamp set, which is retiring in just a few hours! Totally perfect for my well travelled Dad. I also LOVE the Typeset Designer Paper, so I had to give it one last hurrah before it retires too.
