Hello my friends! I’ve got a cute, quick, and easy card to share today.
We made this cutie at my SE Calgary Card Club gathering in September. Everyone loved the technique, called a collar fold, and several fell in love with the Cookie Cutter Halloween stamp set and coordinating punch.
Creative Tips:
- Don’t hesitate to go big with pattern. The Moroccan Designer Paper is bold, but with a simple card design like this one, a big section of it works perfectly.
- Get shredded. The Kraft Rope Trim looks fabulous with the layers pulled apart and then tied into a bow. I think it kinda looks like hay, especially next to that scarecrow.
A new round of my SE Calgary Card Club will be starting in a few weeks. I have a few precious spaces available if you’d like to join the fun. We meet on the 3rd Monday of the month and create 3 fab card projects. More details on the club HERE. Don’t delay in claiming a spot!
