Hello friends and welcome to the official Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team blog hop! You’re in for a real treat as we have 20 designers, from all over the world, sharing creations using the fabulous Flourishing Phrases Bundle.
Today’s card is simple, and sophisticated. A few fancy – but EASY – details really make it a stand out.
Creative Tips:
- Reach for the rainbow! Don’t be intimidated to use a selection of bold and bright colours. Here I’ve used Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay, Cucumber Crush, and Daffodil Delight.
- It’s all about the details. Using my paper snips to fussy cut one image – the flower – makes it possible to add another layer of dimension and interest to the blossom.
- Use the right paper for the job. Making a rouched paper embellishment is a lot easier when you use a lightweight paper like the designer Envelope Paper. I especially love this bright Cucumber Crush pattern.
- Adapt! Don’t want or need the entire sentiment? Just stamp it on a piece of scrap paper and cut out the portion you’d like to use. That’s what I did for the ‘Best Friend’ on this card.
Now please go and pay my friend Amy O’Neill a visit. She’s crazy talented and sweet as candy.
