Hi friends! Wow! It’s been absolutely scorching here in Calgary this week already. The temperature hit 30C yesterday, which is totally unheard of for Calgary in May! Although I MUCH prefer the sun to the snow, this girl is melting! Seems rather fitting to share a card featuring a ripe summer peach though. 😉
This card was born while I was creating my Instagram post for the Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team. Do you follow me on Instagram? You totally should.
Ok the shameless plug is over. Time to talk card making!
Doesn’t this peach look good enough to eat? You’ll find this stamp in the Apple of My Eye stamp set, which is another goodie that’s retiring at the end of this month. Here’s the Instagram tip I did and Stampin’ Up! shared too.
From #ArtisanDesignTeam member Allison Okamitsu (@NicePeopleStamp): “Create your own tape label sentiments! 1) You’ll need White Stampin’ Emboss Powder, the Alphabet Rotary Stamp, a Heat Tool, Basic Black Cardstock, a VersaMark Ink Pad, and Paper Snips. 2) Stamp the sentiment of your choice on Basic Black Cardstock with VersaMark Ink and sprinkle with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. 3) Set the embossing powder using the Heat Tool. 4) Use Paper Snips to cut out the pieces of your sentiment.” #ADTTipsAndTricks #TechniqueTuesday
Fun, right?! You can create adorable sentiments of your choice using the Alphabet Rotary stamp, but make sure you get that one before it retires too! It’s on SALE for $11.10 too. Crazy good deal!
