Hi friends! I hope you’re having an incredible day! I had SO much fun at my Cards & Cupcakes Class last night. My goodness! There were so many laughs. I LOVE my job.
Today’s card is one we made at my class last night. The Wrapped in Warmth stamp set is so cute and it pairs so beautifully with all the products in this suite. The Cable Knit Dynamic Embossing Folder is a big WOW as it creates such a detailed, textured look.
Creative Tips:
- Get deep, detailed texture! Before using the Cable Knit Dynamic Embossing Folder, spritz your cardstock with a little water (I like to use the Stampin’ Spritzer). The water will loosen the fibres in the cardstock so it can bend and conform to this super intricate design.
- Tricoloured stamping! A few colours of Stampin’ Write Markers can take a simple sentiment stamp up to major WOW factor. To use the markers to ink the words in the stamp in different colours, simply turn the stamp face up on your table and colour the rubber of the stamp with your markers. Remoisten the ink by breathing heavily on the ink (called ‘huffing’) and stamp onto cardstock.
- Little details matter! I’ve added a few little details on this card that make it a real stunner. A little strip of the Warmth & Cheer Designer Paper, that flashy Silver Doily, and that adorable Jingle Bell make all the difference.
