Two weekends ago I hosted an incredible event for one of my team members, my Inkin’ Elite Team Founder’s Circle. She worked so hard to achieve this incredible honour, so I wanted to be sure that every detail was special for her.
The invitations went out several weeks ago and I wanted them to be a sneak peek into what was to come. I used the Real Red and Crushed Curry colour scheme that was planned for the event, as well as the Touches of Texture stamp set to mimic the flowers on the bags I had special ordered.
Three gals earned this event, so I made three beautiful invites to send out. It turned out that one of the ladies was able to attend, and although I of course missed the other two, I was so happy she could come.
The days leading up to the event were full of planning and making pretty things to make her feel special. As I said, she’d worked so hard to earn it and she deserved a day of pampering. The first event of the day was a lunch catered by my amazing chef hubby. So I created a centrepiece for the table.
I used the brand new Lift Me Up Bundle to create the little balloon picks in the flower arrangement. I also created a special place setting for her that she could take home.
We sat and enjoyed a three course lunch that was absolutely incredible.
Appetizer: Carrot soup topped with ginger and cinnamon foam and apple, fennel and goat cheese salad.
Main: Tenderloin steak with asparagus tip, ratatouille, and mushroom grits.
Dessert: Poached pears with vanilla bean ice-cream, caramel sauce, and honey roasted peanuts.
After lunch we headed down to my studio where I had a fun surprise waiting for her.
I had bags custom made for this event and filled it with the entire collection of Clear Blocks as well as the Carrying Case. She was so excited!
The remainder of our day was spent crafting. I created a class just for Fay using the Lift Me Up Bundle from the new Occasions catalogue. Now Fay will have all the samples she needs to plan her own class in January, featuring these new products.
It was such an incredible day and my heart felt so full. Fay worked hard to earn this achievement and I was so happy that I could spoil and paper her for a day.
And not to worry, the two other ladies who earned this prestigious event have their own beautiful bag too.
