Hello from Calgary AB, CANADA and welcome to another fabulous Sale-a-bration 2016 International Blog Hop! Yep, we are INTERNATIONAL baby! So you’ll hop all over the world visiting my talented friends, all while seeing some fab projects featuring products from Stampin’ Up!’s 2016 Sale-a-bration Catalogue.
Today is extra special because Stampin’ Up! released 3 new Sale-a-bration items! These are only available until March 31st, and cannot be purchased. They can only be earned by placing a $60 CAD order, so they are very exclusive.
On my project I’ve used two of these new items, the Pedal Pusher stamp set, and Metallics Glitter Tape.
I have SO many great things to share with you about these new items! The Metallics Glitter Tape is FAB! It’s easy to tear, DOES NOT shed glitter (at all!), and is super sticky! And the Pedal Pusher stamp set is ADORABLE! Not only is there this super cute bike stamp, there’s also several sentiments, and also a little basket you can stamp on the bike with lots of different items you can stamp to place inside the basket. So super cute!
For this card I decided to keep things pretty simple, but there are a few fun details to note:
- The clouds are punched with the Cupcake Builder and Tree Builder punches. I cut the bottoms straight to make them look more cloud like.
- Add a few staples as an embellishment. They don’t need to be just for stapling items on your project.
- Don’t be scared of a pop of colour. That little red flag is the perfect accent.
- Amp up your card base! Here I used the Dots Decorative Mask and some Crushed Curry Ink for some random polka dots.
Have a fab day my friends.
Happy Stampin’

LOVE your card, Allison!! What a great idea to use the polka dots for the background, and the different size clouds using different punches is so clever!!
