Hey Stampers!
As I mentioned in an earlier post, this past Friday was my last day of work at the restaurant. I have had the pleasure of working with my friend Morgan for 2 1/2 years, so I wanted to make something special for her that I knew she’d appreciate.
I have a recipe box that I made a few years ago that looks rather used and abused by now, but Morgan has always liked it. I got my recipe box from a big chain craft store, and after numerous trips back and forth time and time again to look for another one, I finally found out that it had been discontinued by the company. So, when my husband and I were driving through the US to Las Vegas a few weeks ago I was on the hunt for a recipe box I could decorate for Morgan. I FINALLY found one!!!
I kept it pretty simple with some Satin Ribbon and the Greenhouse Gala Designer Series Paper. I also used the dreamy new Early Espresso cardstock for my letters, which I cut out with the BIG SHOT and the Simple Letters Dies. The images on the front and sides are actually cut out from one of the patterns in the designer paper. Anyone who knows me, knows I LOVE cutting things out!!!
Of course I had to add a little gifty inside too. The Friends Never Fade stamp set. LOVE this one!
