I’m baaaacccckkkk….
I am thoroughly exhausted (in a good way!) from the amazing 5 days I just had at the Stampin’ Up! 2010 Convention. I had such a fantastic time that I wish I could have taken you all with me. Good news is, you can re-live it with me right here on my blog this week! I promise I took so many pictures that you’ll feel like you were there too!
Day 1
We woke up at the crack of dawn. Seriously, I am NOT a morning person, but there was no way I was missing a darn thing! We drove over to the convention centre in style…
Yep, that’s a hummer! Our Ford Taurus we reserved was ‘unavailable’ so this beast was ours for 5 whole days! And it’s a good thing too…luggage for 4 girls livin’ it up adds up quickly!
Before we arrived I had this feeling we’d gotten there too early and no one would be there yet…
riiiiggghhhtttt….. This isn’t even close to the whole line either! I couldn’t fit the snake of people that went around the corner into my photo!
Once inside we waited in line for Memento Mall (the creme de le creme of shopping at convention!) We met lots of people in line while we swapped cards with them and chatted.
There was a group of 4 ladies that made these ‘swap aprons’. Aren’t they adorable!?! Great thinking girls!
Inside Memento Mall was insane! We were in such a hurry I could barely stop to snap a photo. You can literally see the ladies running in the picutre!
From there we jumped back in our Hummer and headed to the Stampin’ Up! Home Office. WOW it’s big!
It was windy, but I couldn’t miss the chance to take my picture in front of the corporate sign!
The home office has a beautiful creative spot that I could have stayed in forever called the Legacy Room. There were so many amazing things to look at that it was nearly overwhelming!
Seriously, look at that chandellier up close.
One of the most eye opening things for me was seeing inside the warehouse.
Do you think that’s one of my boxes on the conveyor belt?!?!?! Wouldn’t that have been cool!
From there it was off the hotel for a quick costume change…yeah baby!

I was a finalist for the costume competition, but sadly didn’t win. There were so many amazing costumes!!!!
After the Flower Power Party it was off to bed! We were VERY tired. There’s lots of awesome stuff on Day 2, so stay tuned!
Happy Stampin’

Sadly I didn't win the cruise. SOOOOO jelous of the 10 girls that did though. If I can't win then I'm just going to have to earn it!!!

Looking forward to seeing more pics and hearing more details about convention. I get tired just thinking about attending!
