So we were up and at em at the crack of dawn again on day 2…are you seeing a theme here. Maybe I need to clarify, I think the crack of dawn is before 8am, so it was probably a normal time to wake up for most people, but I was dragging my behind a little. 🙂
We went straight to the convention centre for General Session where Shelli spoke to us and there were a few demonstrations.
Look at this cute card! I had never thought of embossing chipboard in the BIG SHOT before. If you look at the Rich Razzleberry petals on the flower, they’ve been embossed with the lattice embossing folder. Totally cool!
Want know what makes this card even cooler? It’s majorly green. Not like Garden Green, or Wild Wasabi, but reduce reuse recycle kind of green.
On the inside there’s a little envelope filled with pieces of cardstock to write a note on and then send it to a friend. The friend then removes your note, writes their own, and puts it in the mail to the next recipient. So awesome!
In the afternoon we went to our Paper, Pad, and Marker class.
Here we created pages to show our customers the new colour families with paper, ink pads, and markers all being sampled. It looks pretty cool!
They had all these beautiful banners hung above each table. Each one was different and they were all stunning.
From there we went back to the hotel to get changed to attend awards night. It really opened up my eyes to see what is possible to achieve when you really put your mind to it. This is Kim and Kristine walking across the stage to celebrate earning the cruise to Alaska.
I thought the evening was coming to a close, but then this BUS DROVE into the room!!!!
We were treated to a country music concert by Charley Jenkins!
It was truly amazing! And he was certainly not bad looking…
From there it was off to bed! We were soooo tired! Check back tomorrow for Day 3.
Happy Stampin’
Allison
Please note: Less than 1% of all demonstrators earn the Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip each year.
