Hello crafters, card makers, and stampers! On Saturday I hosted an all-day online event for Canadian Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators, and I have this gingerbread man card to share with you from the festivities! During the event I taught a class on Embossing Paste and boy was it fun to play with that product again.
When Embossing Paste was first introduced I put it on EVERYTHING. I think I must have overdone it a bit, because I haven’t reached for it in a few years. Well, I dusted it off for some projects and my love for it has been totally rekindled!
For today’s card I added the Embossing Paste to the gingerbread man ‘frosting’. It’s hard to see in the photos, but all of the white icing on the cookie is Embossing Paste! To do this I placed a few tablespoons of Embossing Paste into a disposable piping bag, snipped a small hole in the end of piping bag, and then put my pastry chef skills to the test and piped on the Embossing Paste in the same way you would pipe on icing. It turned out SO cute and the cookie looks good enough to eat!
Wondering where the adorable gingerbread man stamp is from? You’ll find it in the Sending Cheer Bundle! This bundle has been so much fun to create with and it’s a must for your collection.
