Hello my friends! It’s the one Friday per month that I blog hop with my super duper fancy friends – all current or past Artisans. I am so lucky to call these ladies my friends! This month we are focusing on the Stampin’ Up! colours we don’t use very much. We all do it, neglect some colours because we’re so busy using our favourites. Well this past weekend I put Tip Top Taupe, Watermelon Wonder, and Mossy Meadow on my desk and got to work.
As I was browsing through the catalogue, waiting for inspiration to strike, I saw a stunning card using the Butterfly Basics Bundle. I chose to do something I rarely do, I CASED it! Yep, I took those colours on my desk and made this card almost identical to the one in the catalogue. I truly love how it turned out with these seldom used colours in my stash.
The Butterfly Basics Bundle is so pretty, and with spring right around the corner it seemed like perfect timing to dust off those butterfly stamps and dies.
I loved how this card turned out so much that I shared it with the guests at my stamping gathering on Sunday too. The ladies sure loved the butterflies, and even the most newbie stamper made this card with ease.
So what do you think? Are Tip Top Taupe, Watermelon Wonder, and Mossy Meadow going to make an appearance on your desk?
Now don’t forget to go and visit my fabulous and fancy friend, Cindy Schuster. I know her project will be amazing.
Have an amazing weekend!
Happy Stampin’

I have to admit that Tip Top Taupe is a color I rarely use…but it looks great on this card.

Good for you! You stretch your color wheel to soft pastels! LOL It is most definitely a pretty card.
