Hello crafters, card makers, and stampers! Are you ready to learn a fun technique for your papercrafting projects? On today’s card I’ve used Embossing Paste to create a faux wax seal! While doing some creating this idea dawned on me and I’m so thrilled to share it with you. Time to get excited!
I made this card on my YouTube channel and I have the recording for you in case you missed the live show. I typically go live on Wednesday nights at 7pm MT, so be sure to mark it on your calendar so you can join me next time!
Other than the adorable faux wax seal, the other highlights of this Christmas card are the fabulous imagery and sentiment from the Sending Cheer Bundle, and the bright and fun Merry Bold & Bright Designer Paper.
Faux Wax Seal Info
The faux wax seal is my absolute favourite part of this card and I love how realistic it looks! To create the faux wax seal you’ll need Embossing Paste, Palette Knives, Window Sheets, and a die of your choice. I’ve linked everything to make this card at the end of this post for easy shopping. The video above will show you how to make it step by step.
Because I have a renewed love of Embossing Paste, I made a card last week sharing how you can use it to create a frosted cookie, and you can see that post HERE. I hope you love that one too!
Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed the project I had to share with you today! You’ll find a full supply list, with clickable links, at the end of this post. Thank you in advance for shopping with me!
