Hi friends! I have a very important class announcement to make today! It’s time for my annual fundraiser for the Calgary Food Bank! This year I’m pleased to offer a Christmas Card Class, as well as completed, handmade Christmas Cards. There are two ways you can participate:

I really hope you’ll help me make a difference in the lives of some people here in Calgary. Here are some fun facts about the Calgary Food Bank from their website:
- Every dollar donated allows them to distribute $5 worth of food. It costs about $60 to feed a family of four for a week
- 141,271 people were able to access emergency food during 2014
- 3,000,000 meals were provided to their clients in 1 year
- 90% of critical jobs performed at the Calgary Food Bank are done by their volunteers
