Have you checked out page 49 of your Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue? Isn’t that little candy embellishment ADORABLE!? It was one of the first little tidbits that caught my eye, so I was thrilled when I received this swap from Cheryl Braney at Convention showing of this fun embellishment.
Want to make your own? Here’s the step by step from the catalogue:
- 1. Stamp image.
- 2. Punch image.
- 3. Add glue to back of image.
- 4. Wrap around button.
- 5. Cover with glue.
That seems pretty easy! And don’t you think it would be adorable in red for Christmas to mimic peppermint candies!? I’m going to have to try that…
My best guess at supplies:
Stamps: Sweets for the Sweet, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Basic Black, Melon Mambo
Paper: Whisper White, Melon Mambo, Polka Dot Parade DSP
Big Shot: Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder
Punches: 1″ Circle, 2 1/2″ Circle, Boho Blossoms
Embellishments: Neutrals Buttons, Paper Daisies (did you miss these in the catalogue? I did! Check out pg. 175)
All supplies available from Stampin’ Up!
I hope to be back tomorrow to show you the creations we did at our August Stamp Club meeting. Super fun stuff with the Perfectly Preserved stamp set!
Happy Stampin’
