Summer holidays are fabulous. So much fun on the beach, on the boat, and at the cabin. But you know what happens when I return home? That’s right, it’s back to reality!
I’ve spent the last week playing catch-up on lots of business tasks. Holiday Catalogues have all been shipped, online class packages cut and sent, retreat registrations sorted (only a few spots left if you want to join the fun – details HERE), and lots of invoices sent for my Holiday Catalogue Share. Phew! It’s been busy, but good busy. I love my job so none of it really feels like work.
I took some time this weekend to go on a bike ride, and on a little hike. One was certainly much easier than the other. Not sure I’ll be climbing any mountains any time soon. Man that’s tough going uphill for what seems like an entire day! It was only an hour and a half, but it was NOT easy.
I also did a little DIY project that’s been on my list for over a year now. I made a quilt ladder!
I’m so excited to put this in the living room and hang all the quilts I’ve made on it. It’s so satisfying to make something beautiful out of a pile of cheap lumber.
So now that I’ve had my summer fun and my husband is back at work, it’s back to work full time for me today. I’m so looking forward to lots of hours in my office getting online classes ready for you! My first online class of the new Holiday Catalogue will be announced tomorrow! EEK! You’re going to LOVE it.
