Hello and welcome to the official Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team blog hop! My name is Allison Okamitsu and you are visiting me in Calgary, Canada.
Today’s project is one I’ve been excited to share for a long time. Sometimes it feels like ages between sending my project to Stampin’ Up! and then having our blog hop. But the time is here and I have a fun set of cards with a matching crate to share!
This card collection is a step away from my usual bright and bold style. I used a more muted selection of colours including Pink Pirouette, Mint Macaron, So Saffron, and Smoky Slate, but I couldn’t resist and added some Cucumber Crush and Basic Black for a little WOW factor too. The Botanical Builder Framelits are so incredibly intricate and beautiful, so make sure you purchase the Precision Base Plate and Big Shot Die Brush to make getting those little pieces free after cutting easier.
A fun twist on the traditional paper envelope is to sew together a Glassine Sheet to make a soft and transparent delivery package. Now I wouldn’t send these glassine envelopes through the mail, but when you’re hand delivering your cards, these envelopes will make a cute handmade statement of caring.

When you shop with me you’re earning Stamp Tokens too! For every $50 (before shipping & tax) you earn 1 Stamp Token. Collect 8 Stamp Tokens and receive a FREE clear or photopolymer STAMP SET of your choice (valued up to $40).
Now it’s time to head south of the border and visit the extremely talented Amy O’Neill in the USA.

I love all of those soft and pretty flowers against the bold, black background. And I love the glassine envelope — it totally goes with the softness of the card. I hope you have a wonderful time away, Allison, and enjoy every minute!
