Welcome to the Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop! I’ve got something SO special to share with you today, so let’s get to it!
I’ve been absolutely DYING to share these cards with you. It’s been near torture to keep the NEW Stampin’ Up! 2017-2017 In Colors hidden away in my office. The. Wait. Is. Over.
Ha! Ok that was a bit of a teaser now wasn’t it?! For reals, let’s look at these new In Colors!
Meet Mint Macaron. I know the name says mint, but I can’t decide if this is a green or a blue. Put it next to blue, it’s blue. Put it next to green, it’s green. We’ll just call in my chameleon boyfriend, because I’m in love!
Welcome Watermelon Wonder. A bright coral pink with lots of attitude. We are going to be besties.
Cheers Cucumber Crush. This green is BOLD!
Top of the morning to Tip Top Taupe! A fabulous brownish-grey that’s going to be perfect for dude cards. (Dudes, check out that stamp! Best ever right?! – more on that later).
Drumroll for Delightful Dijon. The name says it all. A deep mustard yellow.
So how do these colours compare to other colours in the Stampin’ Up! family? Let’s take a peek.
I love seeing the colours displayed this way. You can really see the difference between colours that you may have originally thought were really close.
Ok, so back to that DUDE stamp, and all the stamps I used on my cards today actually. They’re from the April Paper Pumpkin Kit! I’m a huge fan of this subscription crafting program by Stampin’ Up! and I’m always ecstatic when the little box arrives on my doorstep! The exclusive stamp sets are hands down my favourite.
Isn’t this such a cute project?! The kit in April had all the supplies to make 8 of these fun pocket cards. I’m so excited for my May kit to come! If you want to join the fun in May, be sure to sign up before the 10th at www.paperpumpkin.com. I’d be thrilled if you chose me (Allison Okamitsu, Calgary AB) as your demonstrator.
Well that brings the longest post ever to a close. High fives and gold stars if you’re still reading this! Now let’s hop across the ocean and visit my friend Barbara to see what she’s created for the Artisan Design Team blog hop!
Happy Stampin’
Allison

Thanks so much for doing the color chart! You're totally right about the mysterious mint macaron! Maybe it has identity issues that are still being worked out ๐ love the cards!
Allison Okamitsu says
Although it's totally struggling with it's identity, Mint Macaron is quickly becoming my favourite. Thanks for your sweet comment. ๐

Great cards. How do you get the darker circles?
Allison Okamitsu says
Hi Donna,
Thanks so much for leaving your kind comment. Oh, and for the darker circles I used a sponge dauber in the coordinating ink pad. Hope that helps!

Thanks for the color comparisons here. They're especially helpful the way you showed them on an actual card. I shared this with some stamping friends!
