Hello friends! Welcome to the Official Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team blog hop! There are 20 of us worldwide who are representing Stampin’ Up!, and sharing our creativity with you! This week several of us have chosen to showcase the Shine On Designer Series Paper, myself included! If you don’t have this paper yet, it’s time to add it to your order. It’s truly stunning!
I’ve made three cards for you, each with the same layout, but highlighting a different one of these amazing patterned papers.
I love that this designer paper is much thicker than typical patterned papers, is METALLIC on one side (swoon!), and also has some fun bright patterns on the opposite side. Oh, and it features Kraft. Love times a million.
This first card is probably my favourite.
The Melon Mambo cardstock, paired with the silver clouds on the designer paper, and the sparkly diamond accent is a major winner for me. I mean, it has pink and hearts and diamonds. Win!
But let’s not forget this cutie:
The pattern on this piece of designer paper makes me squeal. Silver metallic diamonds printed all over it?! End of story. It’s amazing! Oh, and the card’s ok too. 😉
And last but not least:
This one doesn’t have as much WOW factor as the previous two, but still has some super cute elements that make it adorable. Did you know that you can use your Scallop Circle Punch to make that fun starburst shape?
There are two fab stamp sets I’ve used on these cards that honestly weren’t my must have list, until now. I love the swoopy cursive and uppercase bold fonts in Sunburst Sayings. Paired together they really create a WOW sentiment for your cards. The second stamp set is called Sparkle & Shine. Check out this terrific diamond embellishment I created with it!
To create sparkly diamonds for your projects, simply stamp the diamond image from the Sparkle & Shine stamp set, cover it with a generous layer of Crystal Effects, and then sprinkle Dazzling Diamonds Glitter on top. Leave it to dry overnight and BOOM – you’ve got a stunning diamond embellishment!
