When my April Paper Pumpkin Kit arrived from Stampin’ Up! I was surprised to find a cool home decor frame inside!
I decided to switch things up a little with my kit this month as I wanted to create not one gift, but two. And of course being a card making junkie I totally had to sneak a few in there. The only additional products I used to create these projects were two notecards and envelopes.
My first gift set is this beautiful frame with a matching notecard. I put together the frame exactly as shown in the Paper Pumpkin instructions. To create the card I used some of the wrapping for the frame as DSP on my card front and the ‘garbage’ from the cardstock die cuts for both the coral heart border and tag outline. Then it was simple to just stamp a tag from the kit and add it to the front of the notecard. Gotta have a matching envelope – I stamped mine with the chevron background stamp.
This second gift set is for any occasion. It would make a great thank you gift, or a sweet package for a dinner hostess. See that sweet little package to the right? Check out the contents:
This adorable little package holds 10 gift tags (I made 5 of each in the styles shown above). To make the tag packaging I used the leftovers from the frame wrapping (same DSP as is on the card fronts). Here’s some simple instructions to make your own:
