Hi Everyone!
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary this last week so I thought I’d share the card I made for him with you. I know it’s a little girlie, but I had an idea and I just wanted to go with it. He’s pretty easy going, I don’t think he minded the pink. 🙂
I used Pretty in Pink, Crumb Cake, and Basic Grey for my cardstock colours. I also use some of the beautiful Satin Ribbon from the Summer Mini Catalogue. And…it looks as though the satin ribbon may be leaving us at the end of August. I’ve seen the Holiday Mini Catalogue, and it’s not in there! So if you love this dreamy soft satin ribbon be sure to get your order in ASAP. The stamp set I used is a retired hostess set, but you could make this little loaf quite easily with some cardstock and scissors I’d think. Just use your markers to add in some details. I did some paper piecing here to make the image really pop. I’m loving this technique lately! This is one of those cards that looks so pretty and simple ‘in real life’ but kind of loses it’s magic in the picture. I love my white space…but it doesn’t photograph well.
I hope you all have a fabulous weekend planned with friends and family.
Happy Stampin’
Allison
