Last weekend I had the pleasure of hosting 20 wonderful ladies at the Inkin’ Elite Spring Retreat in Banff, Alberta. We created until the wee hours every night and there were SO many wonderful projects in the works at everyone’s station.
When the ladies arrived I surprised each of them with a gift bag full of goodies for their creative escape. Inside was the Undefined Stamp Carving Kit, the Sans and Stripes stamp set, a Stampin’ Pierce Mat, and Silver Dazzling Details.
As you may have noticed I am completely obsessed with the Undefined Stamp Carving Kit, so I was determined to share this awesome product with the ladies at my retreat. I set up a station dedicated to stamp carving with lots of inspiration and templates for them to choose from.
This display has several of the stamps and cards I’ve created personally, and also some that were carved by my customers at previous classes. The ladies at the retreat totally ROCKED IT and carved some AMAZING stamps. I’ll be sharing their creations on my Nice People Stamp Facebook page throughout today, so be sure to ‘like’ me so you don’t miss any of the fun.
Over the course of the weekend I shared three fun Make n’ Takes, all made with stamps I had carved with Undefined. The first was this trio of fun notecards.
I carved this ‘POW’ word bubble stamp and it seemed only fitting to create a comic inspired set of notecards with it. I used my ecutter and the Moments Ago download for My Digital Studio to create the bold sentiments. The silver star was also cut with my ecutter.
An easy way to match your envelope to the card is by stamping the flap the same as your card front. Love it.
Up next was this Instagram inspired scrapbook page.
I carved several stamps for this layout, including the thumbtack, washi tape, notepaper, and camera.
Adding a little Crystal Effects to the top of the thumbtacks really makes them pop!
The Sans and Stripes stamp set is perfect for unique titles like this one.
Last but not least, we made this quick and quirky set of gift tags.
The cassette tape stamp I carved is one of my favourites, so I was eager to share it with the ladies.
I think they really enjoyed seeing all the Undefined stamps used in creative projects. Many of them were inspired to carve some pretty amazing stamps, so don’t forget to like my Facebook page to see them.
It’s also time to mark your calendars for the next retreat! I hope you’ll join me at the Inkin’ Elite Fall Retreat in Banff, Alberta on October 24th, 25th, and 26th 2014!
Happy Stampin’
Allison
