Hi friends! It’s so good to be home. I was away for 2 weeks on Vancouver Island visiting family and had an amazing time, but it’s always great to come home. I spent some time at the cabin with my Mom & stepdad, siblings and the nephews. Oh those boys. SO cute! Big B had a great time with a new fish trap I bought him and spent most of the days baiting and checking his trap. He caught a ton of bullheads, and then had fun releasing them all. Total Auntie win on that one! Five days of my trip were spent with my Dad & stepmom on their boat cruising the glorious BC coast. I feel so incredibly lucky to be able to see this part of the world in this way. It’s pretty incredible to see a humpback whale swimming right beside the boat and then spending the night anchored next to a remote island with almost no other boats around. Sigh, does summer have to end?
Before we kiss summer goodbye, I wanted to colour this beautiful image from the Accented Blooms Stamp Set with some bright and bold Stampin’ Blends. I just LOVE how saturated the colours are with these alcohol markers.
If you’ve never used the Stampin’ Blends, there are a few tips and tricks. HERE‘s a video I did showcasing these awesome markers.
Colouring with the Stampin’ Blends is so simple and so rewarding. It’s really simple to create gorgeous projects.
