The final day of convention was truly mindblowing. There was a short general session in the morning, which I really enjoyed as it focused on the future of Stampin’ Up! and how the business is growing and evolving.
About 45 minutes later we were off to do our make n’ takes, seriously! Can you believe they co-ordinate make n’ takes for 2800 people?!?! The projects were fun and creative and I can’t wait to finish mine. (I ducked out early because I wanted to take some more pictures of the display boards)
After lunch we went back to the main stage area for Shelli’s presentation.
This year she was joined on stage by her beautiful daughter Sarah. They were HILARIOUS!!!!! If it wasn’t for all the crafts they were doing I would have thought I was at a comedy show. New side job for ya there Shelli!
They made TONS of things using the new FABRIC that will be available in the Holiday Mini Catalogue (if you are Canadian and you want the mini sent to you, please email me your snail mail address nicepeoplestamp@hotmail.com)
All of these cards use the awesome new fabric. I think it’s so cool that we’ll even have fabric that now co-ordinates with our papers and inks!
Then they showed us some beautiful Christmas ornaments using the fabric as well.
Aren’t they so creative?!?!? I wish I had a fraction of their talent!
Ok, so Sarah looks like she’s in some kind of horror flick here, but I just have to show you the skirts they were wearing…
They’re made with the new Stampin’ Up! fabric too!!!! Can you tell I’m excited about the fabric???
Shelli was just wrapping up the day when she made the crowd go wild!
She gave everyone in the room a free stamp set, package of designer series paper, the new glass glitter, and a full sized cherry cobbler ink pad!
And don’t forget about the awesome loot we scored on the first day…
We got 3 stamp sets, a wheel, and a bag!
Convention was truly one of the most exciting events I have ever attended. It was so rewarding to be in a place with 2800 other people who love stamping and papercrafting just as much as I do. I’d really love for you to join me next year in Salt Lake City. Being a demonstrator is an amazing experience that has brought me more friends than I could have ever imagined. Happy Stampin’
