Scrapbooking is such an awesome creative escape. I love looking through my photos and choosing the perfect ones to place on my layout. My husband and I REALLY love travelling, but it seems we have less and less time to get away lately so I really enjoyed scrapbooking some moments from a few of our trips. I shared this page as part of my Display Stamper Audition post yesterday, but I wanted to share a few more details with you today.
Stamping has really helped my scrapbooking evolve and become more polished over time. I love that I can combine several images from several different stamp sets to make the page my own. Just because the stamps aren’t in a set together, doesn’t mean they don’t go together.
I think the showstopper on this page is the border I created with the Sweetie Pie Frames stamp set. I just adore those little doodles.
Stamps: Sweetie Pie Frames, Dictionary, Hello Lovely, Starburst Sayings, Yippee-Skippee, Hip Notes, Chalk Talk, Tape It
Ink: Whisper White Craft, Basic Black
Paper: Basic Black, Smoky Slate, Daffodil Delight, Real Red, Island Indigo, Whisper White
Big Shot: Word Bubbles Framelits, Starburst Framelits
Don’t forget to pin this colour combo to your creative boards on Pinterest. I know this is one I’ll be using again.
