Hi friends! Happy to report that I’m feeling much better after my bad fall on the ice. The muscles are relaxing and I might even try to go for a walk again this weekend. We’ll see. I definitely don’t want to take another tumble. We also have plans to go out for dinner with my cousin and her boyfriend this weekend. A Valentine’s double date if you will. I’m really looking forward to seeing them (it’s been WAY too long) and of course a fancy dinner out too!
Ok, let’s chat about this card. The Rose Garden Thinlits are incredibly beautiful, and so intricate. Every time I use them I’m blown away by their beauty. They’re also perfect to do some paper piecing to look like stained glass.
This did take a little time, but it’s so worth it. The results are absolutely stunning!
Step by step:
- Choose a framelit, thinlit, or die with a line image, filled in with smaller sections of negative space.
- Die cut entire image in Basic Black Cardstock. This will be your outline.
- Continue to die cut the same image with several other colours of cardstock and use the negative space pieces to fill in the image.
