Happy Monday! Did you have a great weekend? We were busy, but in a great way. We had a fabulous time at the farmer’s market on Saturday and enjoyed a fantastic meal at a restaurant we hadn’t been to in a while on Sunday night. Yeah, we are food people. 🙂
Today’s project was a real lifesaver for me last week. I had orders for my fab customers arrive, but I was in a pinch for thank you cards. MDS to the rescue! From design to completion, I made 24 thank you cards in under 15 minutes.
The first step was to design a sheet of ‘layers’ to fit on my 3 x 3 cards. I quickly designed this cutie with a few stamps and some punches, super easy. Then all I had to do was print on my 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock, cut out the pieces, and then layer them on my 3 x 3 card bases. For all 24 cards I only used 2 pieces of 8 1/2 x 11 and 2 pieces 12 x 12 cardstock. Plus it was fast. A total win in my opinion!
Don’t be afraid of the MDS software. It’s easy to use and can come to the rescue for you too! There’s a whole website of samples to help you on your designing journey, and Stampin’ Up! staff regularly monitor the technical support conversations. So the only thing holding you back is you! Dive in!
