Good morning friends! I’m currently in Salt Lake City, livin’ it up Stampin’ Up! style at our annual convention! But it is Friday after all, and I couldn’t possibly leave you without a TGIF Challenges card! The challenge this week is Clean & Simple. Um, do I do that?
Well it turns out that I can do clean and simple if I try. Here’s my card this week.
And although I’m typically not a ‘clean and simple’ kind of girl, I do really like how this turned out. It must be those vintage leaves. This stamp set is truly beautiful.
Vintage Leaves photopolymer stamp set $32 |
To create those beautiful leaves you’ll first need to stamp them in VersaMark Ink on Watercolour Paper, sprinkle with White Embossing Powder, and heat set with the Heat Tool. Then it’s time to go to town with your Aqua Painter and some Stampin’ Up! Classic Inks. For my leaves I used Real Red, Calypso Coral, and Daffodil Delight.
I also added some fun metallic embellishments to compliment the gold embossing on the sentiment. I was after some gold candy dots to match my gold button, so I simply coloured some with a gold sharpie marker. Easy peasy.
You can find all the supplies I used to create this card and links to my Canadian Online Stampin’ Up! Shop at the end of this post, and don’t forget that you can play along with us over at TGIF Challenges too!
Happy Stampin’
