Hello crafters, cardmakers, and stampers! Nothing quite says summer like a day at the pool, lake, or beach. I love to spend as much time as I can on the water. Having grown up on Vancouver Island, I’m an ocean girl at heart.
The old fashioned and nostalgic look of the swimsuit on this card is just so cute, and who doesn’t love a pink polka dot suit?!
To create the ‘splash’ background on this card I’ve used the Splatter Embossing Folder from the Stripes & Splatters duo. The focal piece is from the Diorama Dies with a touch of sponging in Coastal Cabana Ink. I think it sets the scene for a perfect little poolside feel.
I made several of these cards to share with my demonstrator friends in a swap recently. It was fun to make a bunch of these assembly-line style!
