Where do I even start?!?! Today was AMAZING!!! And of course it’s great to be here with my 3000 best friends…
The energy in the room was intoxicating! It is just an amazing feeling to be with so many people who love stamping like I do. The stage this year is gorgeous as always. Bright and cheery and a wonderful theme ‘grow’.
And of course every event is a Shelli fashion show. I wish you could see her shoes, they are fabulous!
There were SO many announcements today! And they gave us the Holiday Mini Catalogue! Start saving your dollars ladies, it’s is beyond beautiful, beyond amazing, beyond fabulous, beyond anything I’ve ever seen. Of course everything is very hush hush, so no pictures! But I will tell you that there are stamp sets, dies, punches, and designer paper that you WILL NOT be able to live without.
They had everything hidden under these presents and then unveiled them one by one.
The whole crowd was gasping and ooooing and awwwing at the same time!
And of course there was free stuff, there’s ALWAYS free stuff! Today ALL attendees got one of the Simply Sent Kits! Here’s me giving mine some lovin’…
No, I don’t look excited at all…
The rest of the day was presentations, classes, and swapping. I even did two organized swaps! As a first time organized swap participant I was nervous that no one would like my cards, but I think they were pretty well received and it was REALLY fun! Oh, and we also had our annual dinner at Olive Garden. The time with friends is truly priceless.
After our dinner we got all dressed up and headed back to the convention centre for awards night. Awards night is when Stampin’ Up! recognizes the top demonstrators for their sales, recruiting, downline leadership, and overall performance. It was awe inspiring to see these wonderful ladies be rewarded for their achievements.
There was a pretty big shocker tonight, they announced the weekend getaway and grand vacation locations! I haven’t earned a trip before, but these destinations are sure enticing!
After awards night there was an after party in the ballroom. There were all sorts of sweet snacks, music, dancing, and mingling with friends.
