The last day of Stampin’ Up! Convention was bittersweet. I was still having so much fun that I didn’t want it to end, but I was also excited to get home and put some of the fabulous ideas I saw into action. The day kicked off with a great presentation by Sarah Douglas. She blew us all away with her fabulous projects using the new Simply Created Kits in the new Holiday Catalogue.
In the afternoon we were able to attend the classes of our choice. I went to two business minded classes and one creative class, taught by Carrie Cudney. Check out these adorable Halloween canvases she made!
Later in the afternoon we were all back together for some more stamping presentations. If you ever need a dose of the funnies, just go see a presentation by Bonnie Thurber. She is hands down one of the funniest ladies I have ever had the chance to meet. Her presentation on scrapbooking rocked too!
Not too much longer after Bonnie left the stage it was time to say goodbye.
But we were all invited back next year to experience the amazing crazy awesome fun of another Convention!
Oh, and although Convention isn’t about the free stuff, because it’s SO MUCH MORE than that, I thought you might like to see the final haul!
7 stamp sets, 1 pkg DSP, 2 rolls washi tape, 1 backpack, 1 Paper Pumpkin Kit, 1 new stamp carving kit (more on that tomorrow!!!!), 1 goodie bag kit, and 6 creative make n take projects!!!! I don’t think spoiled even begins to cover it!
Happy Stampin’
Allison
