Several months ago I was asked if I’d like to be featured as a guest artist in the Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Magazine, Stampin’ Success. I was nervous, honoured, and so very excited to be presented with this fabulous opportunity and I’m thrilled to finally share these projects with you.
As soon as I received the Happy Watercolor stamp set I immediately knew the colour combination I wanted to work with. I just love the classy look of Gold, Whisper White and Coastal Cabana, and then add in the rustic feel of Burlap Ribbon and Linen Thread and I think it’s a match made in heaven.
A few tips to recreate this card:
- to create the two toned dots in the background: stamp some using the Gold Encore Metallic Ink and stamp some with VersaMark and emboss with Gold Embossing Powder
- get some extra oomph from your Linen Thread by doubling it up and using two strands at once
