Hello crafters, card makers, and stampers! And a very special welcome to those who are visiting from my friend Brian King’s blog! Brian asked me last week if I’d like to share one of my creations to his blog – what an honour – so of course I said YES! Brian and I became friends several years ago, and I always love spending time with him at different Stampin’ Up! events. Here’s our most recent photo!
I guess I better get on to today’s card! Since I created this project specifically to be shown on Brian’s blog, I had his clean and simple style at the forefront of my mind when I was stamping. I kept the imagery as a bold focal point and the background simple but ‘on theme’ for the wintery scene.
The stamp set I’ve used is called Dear Santa and it has an array of cute images. I’ve coloured mine using Stampin’ Blends Markers and I have a quick video tutorial to share with you today. Enjoy!
I hope you were able to get a few tips from the Stampin’ Blends video tutorial if you are just starting out with these markers. I really love them, and they’re a great addition to your craft room.
Some other items that I’ve used on this card that make for an effective wintery scene are the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder and the Frozen Edges Dies. These are two must owns for your collection!
A big thank you to Brian for inviting me to share my creativity with his readers today.
When you shop with me, you get rewarded! With every $50 ordered using the monthly host code, you’ll automatically be enrolled in my Stamp Tokens program, plus receive a thank you gift from me.
