Happy Friday Friends! I’m back with a little more Spring home decor to brighten up your living space.
I’ve always admired paper flower topiaries, but they looked SO tedious. So what changed my mind and enabled me to try my hand at this adorable DIY? Enter the Spiral Flower Die for the Big Shot.

With the tedious hand cutting of all those pretty roses taken care of, I decided the topiary project was on my ‘must do’ list.
Tips
- After cutting out the flower pieces with your Big Shot, spritz with water before rolling. This loosens the fibres in the cardstock and allows it to roll smoothly.
- Use the tip of your paper piercer as a guide to begin rolling your flower. This ensures you have a tight centre.
- Wrap a wooden dowel with ribbon for the stem of your topiary and secure to the base of your pot and the middle of your flower ball with a strong adhesive.
- Frayed and separated Burlap Ribbon is perfect for the ‘dirt’ in the pot!
