Sea Street Birthday Card: Team Swap

Today’s card is one I’ve been waiting to share for some time. Last month made several of these to swap with the members of my Canadian team of demonstrators, the Inkin’ Elite, and now everyone should have their cards.

I’m not really sure what I was thinking when I decided to create a shaker card with three fussy cut pieces for a swap, but my team is worth it. These ladies are a pleasure to share my stamping journey with and I’m honoured they chose me as their leader.

The theme of the swap was masculine birthday cards, and I think my card fits the bill. My Dad and brother are both boat junkies and live for a day on the ocean, so I know this card will be a hit with them.

I used the Sea Street stamp set for the stamped pieces within the shaker window, which I think turned out super fab. The background was created with the Hardwood stamp and the sentiment from the hostess set, Silhouettes & Script.
