Happy Monday! I previously mentioned on my blog and Facebook page that I’d been doing some sewing over the holidays and it just occurred to me yesterday that I never shared the little masterpieces I’d been working on. This year I made each of my nephews one of these adorable recycled denim fabric buckets where they can keep their treasures.
These were certainly a labour of love, as I kept adding detail after detail until my project that I’d intended to finish in an evening ended up taking a week! I’m so sad to report that of course one of the packages has been lost in the mail so two of my nephews did not receive their handmade gift. How do you replace the hours of time and love? You just can’t. I’m so sad about it. I’m supposed to hear back from the shipping company tomorrow, but I’m not holding my breath.
The countdown is on my friends! Only ONE MORE SLEEP until the Stampin’ Up! Occasions and Sale-a-bration Catalogues go live! I’ll actually be staying up late this evening to place my order as soon as the online store has been updated, so if you’re dying for some new goodies contact me today and I’ll be sure to get your order in. And be sure to check back in tomorrow for a fun project with some NEW STAMPS!
I am thrilled to finally reveal the projects my friend Becky Cowley has make for Stamps in the Mail subscribers this month! They’re unbelievably cute and have so many fabulous layers and embellishments. You’re not going to want to miss out! Check out all the details of the Stamps in the Mail program HERE. Happy Stampin’
