Papercrafting Retreat in the Rocky Mountains! | A recap of the Winter 2022 event in Canmore, AB | Stampin' Up! Window Wishes Bundle

Hello crafters, cardmakers, and stampers! With my Boxing Week Special this week of an additional free stamp set with registration for my Spring Retreat, I thought it would be the perfect time to share a recap of the retreat held in November 2022.

I love putting on these retreats. I pour my heart and soul into all the details as I want everyone to feel pampered and special. There’s something so amazing about sharing a weekend of creativity with others that is so uniquely wonderful and fulfilling. Here is most of the fabulous ladies that joined me this winter.

Stampers from as far away as Quebec and Ontario came to the town of Canmore AB for this event. I am so thankful for each of you who support this weekend and take part.

The pampering began with a swag bag for each of the ladies. I made these custom bags just for them and stuffed them with Stampin’ Up! products. Everyone received a stamp set & dies bundle, embellishments, specialty paper, and more! The swag bag alone is a value of over $100!

My awesome team member Karen was kind enough to be my awesome bag model. Karen has come to many retreats and has rarely missed one! I think she loves the weekend away to be creative as much as I do.

Part of making people feel special is personalization. So on each bag I hung a fancy tag with their names. Every year I say I’m going to simplify the tags, but every year I see ladies who have saved every tag from every event. It makes me so happy that they love them so much.

Part of the event is always some games. And of course I came prepared with lots of prizes!

AND even after I gave all that away, I had an extra prize for everyone. It’s more fun when everyone is a winner.

Inside each box was a bottle of the Snowfall Accents Puff Paint! We used this fantastic stuff on our make n takes too. It’s so fun to play with!

Last but certainly not least is the incredible make n takes. We made multiples of each of these card designs to they could go home with a stack of Christmas cards ready for the mailbox. I particularly love designing my retreat projects as I can make them more involved, fancier, and over the top.

Each of the ladies received the Window Wishes Bundle in their swag bag, so the make n takes featured this bundle. I also added in a few touches from my favourite designer paper Celebrate Everything.
