My layout today doesn’t feature a Project Life kit at all – GASP!
The Oh Happy Day greeting card kit is filled with incredible embellishments, card bases, and even stamps.
I ordered two of these great kits. One so I could make the ultra cute cards, and another because I knew it would be perfect for Project Life.
I easily cut up the card bases to fit the pockets I wanted to fill. Then it was just a matter of choosing some of the embellishments to pretty it up a little. I LOVE these colours, and this kit was perfect for documenting the Stampin’ Up! Canada regional event in Calgary. Seriously fun times!
Don’t forget that you can cut things up to make them work for your layout. Here I chopped a flower embellishment and spread it over two pockets for a fun pop of colour.
I often do a traditional 12×12 layout within my Project Life pocket layouts, to highlight a special photo. This is one of me and my friend Shannon playing dress up in the photo booth at the event. I used everything from the kit to complete this page, with the exception of the 12×12 Whisper White cardstock and a Daffodil Delight Ink Pad.
Use the kit components like mad. Go crazy. I love this multilayered, heavily embellished look.
