I had my Mom and stepdad visiting this weekend, and we had lots of fun! My Mom is a decorating diva, so we spent some time doing some Easter home decor. I had a vision (inspired by Pinterest of course!) so we headed out to the stores with a plan. We got some really great pieces, but to create the look I wanted we needed to do a little DIY. My Mom is not exactly the crafty type, but I got her punching and distressing like a pro in no time. We used the First Edition DSP and distressed it with the Tea Stain Ink Spot (from the Distressing Kit), and punched out some flowers with the Itty Bitty Punch Pack. Add some glue and some purchased egg forms and voila!
I’m certainly not finished, but it’s a start! And it was really great to share the time with my Mom.
