Hi friends! I have a special post for you today, and every Friday for the next four weeks! Way back in November, the North American Stampin’ Artisan Design Team Members were asked to create samples for the Stampin’ Up! Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida. Well now that the event is over, we are able to share those projects with you!
Each of us was given four specific categories we had to create for. Today I’m sharing the samples I made featuring the ColorBox Chalk Ink Pads.
I really wanted the the chalk ink and chalkboard paper to shine, so I just added a little snippet of a doily and a punched out heart for embellishment.
Since I had all the supplies on my desk from creating the sample above and it turned out so well, I used many of the same products for this card.
I adore the ampersand in the You Plus Me stamp set. I think it looks ultra chic here in White Craft Ink on Chalkboard Paper.
This card is my favourite of the samples I made using the ColorBox Chalk Inks. The two tone stamping is so striking!
To create your own two tone stamped image:
-ink up approximately half your image with Yellow Citrus Chalk Ink.
-add Aquamarine Chalk Ink to the other half of your stamp and slightly overlap onto the yellow
-stamp on Chalkboard Paper
A few things I discovered while working with the ColorBox Chalk Inks:
-to get rich, deep colour from the Aquamarine Ink Pad stamp the image twice using the Stamp-a-ma-jig
-heat set your ink for a faster dry time
-you can stamp on any paper, but for the intense colour on black you’ll want to purchase the Chalkboard Paper
The rest of the North American Stampin’ Up! Artisans would love for you to visit their blogs and see what they created for the Leadership 2015 Displays too!

I love that heart stamp! May I ask what the name of the stamp set is?
Allison Okamitsu says
Hi Tami,
The little heart stamp? It's from the You Plus Me stamp set. Hope that helps!

Sorry, I was referring to the cross stitch heart on the first card.
Allison Okamitsu says
Oh! Tami that is actually a piece of patterned paper from the Stacked with Love Designer Series Paper Stack. You can find it here: http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=137779&dbwsdemoid=2048976
