Hi Everyone!
I had another fabulous Sunday with my Stamp Club girls! I am so lucky to have such an amazing group of ladies to spend one Sunday a month with. I wish we could meet every Sunday!
This is one of our projects from this month. We used the Briefcase chipboard from the Summer Mini Catalogue, as well as the Island Oasis Designer Series Paper and co-ordinating Tropical Party stamp set. We made the oversized magnolia flower with the Ornament punch (I know! Not what you expected eh?) I found a video on you tube and just had to try it for myself.
Sooooo…if you check out #10 it says one of my Summer 2010 memories is unemployment! Yep, I quit my job as a Pastry Chef. I don’t really think it has sunk in just yet, but I’m sure it will soon. I have really given all of myself to the restaurant for the past 5 years and now it’s time for me to focus on my family. My husband is starting a new job that will initially be very demanding, so I intend on helping him a lot, as well as focus on my Stampin’ Up! business. I really would like to grow my base of customers and the only way to do that is get out and meet people (which I haven’t had much time for in the past). I look forward to connecting with new friends in the future and sharing my love of stamping and crafting with even more fabulous people!
Happy Stampin’
Allison
