Now let’s chat about today’s card. I just can’t seem to stop with these mason jars! They are so cute! The Jar of Love stamps and framelits I’ve used on this card are bundled together for 10% savings. I just LOVE when Stampin’ Up! bundles coordinating products together and gives us some savings! Score!
Creative Tips:
- The secret ‘extra layer’. By stamping the large Watercolor Wash background stamp onto my card base, I’ve created the illusion of an extra layer of cardstock, with none of the added bulk for mailing, or the cost of cardstock. Sneaky and smart. 🙂
- Not all jars are clear! Do you miss the beautiful coloured glass jars of yesteryear? Yeah me too. But you can recreate those stunning coloured jars by stamping your jar image onto coloured cardstock, like the Pool Party I used here.
- Easy peasy water. To create the look of water in your jar, simply use a Sponge Dauber to add some Pool Party Ink to the bottom half of your jar image. Easy peasy water!
