Hello friends and welcome to the Be Inspired Design Team blog hop. Today we are sharing our projects that are ‘inspired by food’. This image from the Basket of Wishes Stamp Set reminds me of a day spent at the farmer’s market in fall.
I kept all of the elements on this card very simple, as I wanted to let the watercoloured image really POP. I find I get the most vibrant watercolouring when I use my Aqua Painter and the inks from my Stampin’ Up! Classic Ink Pads, so that’s exactly what I did. Make sure before you start any watercolouring that you stamp your image onto Watercolour Paper with Basic Black Archival Ink and allow it to dry completely. Then get creative with your ink choices and start colouring! You can see just how many ink pads I used for my project when you check out the supply list below.
Want to learn the watercolour techniques I used on today’s card? Join me this afternoon for my Facebook Live Show at 2pm (mountain) and we’ll chat and craft while I show you exactly how to colour this image. Make sure you ‘like’ and ‘follow’ my NicePeopleStamp Facebook Page so you never miss a live show!
