Inkin' Elite Fall 2016 Retreat Recap

Hi friends! I have so much excitement to share with you from my 2016 Fall Retreat. There’s a lot of prep that goes into this event, but every single moment is worth it. Way before I pack up and leave town, there’s things like make n’ takes and classes to cut for.

Make n’ Take supplies all cut and ready to be bagged!

Several of the ladies signed up for the Cookie Cutter Christmas Stamp-a-Stack. There’s supplies for 260 Christmas cards in those bags!

Everyone who attends the retreat receives a goodie bag filled with Stampin’ Up! supplies. This year I gifted each of them the Jolly Friends Bundle and Mini Jingle Bells. Of course I had to pretty up those goodie bags with some cute tags.

That moose from the Jolly Friends stamp set is just the cutest with his adorable little hat, and you’ll find that perfect cursive ‘hello’ in the Endless Birthday Wishes stamp set, but the showstopper here is the brand new Stitched Shapes Framelits! I just can’t stop using them!

The tags really POP on these polka dot kraft gift bags.

After lots of prep at home, it was time to pack up and get to Banff! Before my guests arrived, Shannon and I set up the crop room with their cute bags on their spots, and every craft supply I own around the room for the ladies to use all weekend.

This is about halfway through the set-up process. Still lots to do!

Once everyone arrived it was a whirlwind of activity! The ladies packed in their craft supplies and the most wonderful weekend of creativity was underway. Late nights, lots of sugar, and loud music makes for a ton of fun.

The make n’ takes are always so fun to share with my guests, as they are always excited to see how we are going to use the items I’ve given them in their goodie bags. This time it was all about the Jolly Friends Bundle.

We made a scrapbook page, card, and tag.

The Santa and his cute hat are from the Jolly Friends Bundle, and the snowflake and sentiment from the Stitched with Cheer stamp set.

This card uses the Jolly Friends Bundle and the Tin of Tags stamp set – which is on sale until the end of November!

My favourite make n’ take of the weekend was this elf scrapbook page. The Holly Jolly Greetings stamp set and Christmas Greetings Thinlits are so perfect here – a great addition to the Jolly Friends Bundle. And of course, those Stitched Shapes Framelits are back! LOVE them!!
