I made this home decor frame for my friend Morgan for Christmas and I couldn’t resist using one of my NEW stamp sets that will be in the upcoming Occasions Mini Catalogue (beginning Jan.5th).The stamp set is called Vintage Vogue and it is AWESOME!!! I love the pretty vintage flowers that look weathered and worn. This is going to be one of my new favs for sure!
I used the BIG SHOT and the Alphabet Simple Letters Die for her initials. I also embellished with some felt from the Flower Fusion assortment, some 1/4″ Grosgrain Ribbon, and some Neutrals Brads. All my stamping, sponging, and cardstock is Pink Passion, Whisper White, and Old Olive.
I used a cool masking technique to make the scallops on my paper for my background. I’ll be teaching this technique as part of Stamp Club 2010. Check out the post from Dec.21for the details. Email me to join!! It’s going to be a BLAST!!!
