Hello my friends and welcome! I’m currently sitting in the Denver airport, waiting to get on my flight to Boise. Why Boise? I’m going to visit the incredible Becky Roberts and her team at their Inking Idaho on the Road Creative Retreat! Sqeeeeeee! I’m so excited. Want some more cool news (of course you do). I’m going to be presenting! I’ve prepared some top secret projects to share at her event and I’m thrilled that it’s nearly here. Somebody needs to pinch me. My Stampin’ Up! demonstrator life is just so so fun!
I guess I better get typing if I want to share the details of my fun card with you before I have to jet off again. Today’s card uses the Guy Greetings Stamp Set (which is the giveaway this month on my VIP Customer Facebook Page – you can read about how to join HERE), and also the Reverse Words Stamp Set – a Sale-a-bration exclusive that will be GONE at the end of this month.
The Guy Greetings Stamp Set it loaded with fab images and sentiments, so this card came together quickly. My colour palette is Smoky Slate, Dapper Denim, and Whisper White. Super simple, but still striking. You’ll achieve the faded blue jean look on this fella by using your Blender Pen and Dapper Denim Ink to colour them in. Just a piece of friendly advice – less is more. You can always add more ink if your jeans are too light, but you’ll have to start over if you make those jeans too dark the first time around.
Well my plane is here and I think we’ll start boarding soon. I’ll report back next week on my fabulous weekend in Boise! You’ll find a full list of supplies I’ve used on my card today, with links to my Canadian Online Stampin’ Up! Shop at the end of this blog post.
Do you wish you could stamp right along with me?
Good news Canadians, you can!
The Lift Me Up Online Class is ALMOST FULL…again! I’m overjoyed with your support. I’ve opened some more spots, but they’re filling fast. Don’t wait to sign up. Full details on how you can get your SIX card class supplies and online class HERE.
